As you probably noticed, I changed my blog name to 'Domestic Felicity'. I was doubtful about that at first, but it just kept haunting me. There's a sort of magic in those words, don't you think? I kept my old title as a description of what this blog is about.

This is my first day back to my usual routine, so as you can understand I've got my hands full. Things do tend to pile up during a vacation; I'm sure you all know what I mean! However, I'm busy in a happy, peaceful way; how wonderful it is to have an opportunity to be at home, and work quietly, steadily, without stress, rush and anxiety. I hope your day is as lovely as mine, flowing in a comfortable pace, with many sweet joys of everyday life.

It looks great! Unfortunately I'm really bad at crocheting and knitting... Something I'll want to teach myself in the near future.
Beautiful job. I love crocheting, too.
It looks wonderfull. I do not have the patients for crochett or knitting :) I do it off and on but have yet to finnish a project. I have a difficult time remembering what stitch I am on.
That is so pretty, Anna!! It looks great! I really like it.
Your crochet is very even looking, Anna. Myself, I am stronger in knitting, & have made only a few crochet items. They didn't turn out too bad, but I'm without a doubt more comfortable with knitting. I'll bet you can't wait to get your new piece blocked, & add it to your wardrobe!
Have a nice day, Anna

So cute! I'm also a fan of layers :)
Anna, that's lovely! Crochet isn't a particular talent of mine (yet!), but I'd love to tackle a big project like that someday :)
Thank you, ladies!
Beautifully Created, when I started crocheting and knitting, it drove me crazy :) Later I became an addict ;)
Brenda, I'm actually better at crocheting, but now I try to learn more about knitting too. All the adorable items you can make!..
Anna, I like the new name for your Blog..It sounds so like you...
and I also love the crocheted top... you do very good work... (I also do better with my knitting).. it seems to be smoother than my crocheting.. but I love to do both.. and I love to sit and look through pattern books..I really enjoy your blog
Thank you, Mimi! Of course, in the crafts area I'm nothing compared to my Mom. I'm learning from her, though!!
Anna,
That top is too cute. I love seeing projects that people work on. Also the new title is great!

Great project!
I like your new blog name - I'll go change our link so that it has the right name. =)
Looks awesome! I will have to try it for School. It will be cold this Fall, and Winter, and I will need something to keep me warm! Do you have the whole pattern, or do you have the link?
In Christ,
Laura H
I really think the name of you blog, discribes what you want to talk about. Great job!
Laura
Laura, I just found this motive I posted here, and used it to fit me. There were no instructions about making something specific. So I decided to be creative :)
Anna,
That is so beautiful! I love the color too. That's a simple pattern? It looks pretty confusing to me!
It looks great, and I like the new title too.
Thanks Autumn! :) Yeah, it's pretty simple, at least comparing to the shawl I made last winter. Now THAT was complicated.
I like the title, Domestic Felicity! I love to crochet too, that top is very cute. Great job!
Anna...I am the mother of two lovely christian girls, aged 20 and 22. Please understand my observation may be mine only. The crocheted 'outer' layer only enhances your feminine physique. It accentuates...um. You know? So...I want to encourage your stance on modesty. However, the outer layer needs abit more 'room' to drape femininely OVER the tight-fitted first top. It is alright if no one else feels this way. However, your fitness can be 'told' by the two tops, although they are worn together and can still stumble a man.
Very pretty!
Dear anonymous lady,
I think this picture just isn't something. It seems tighter here than it is in real life. but maybe I should really remove it, so as not to offend anyone's feelings!
Anna, Once your new top is blocked and steamed it will be fine.. and it will also be modest (you did a great job with your handiwork)
Very drawn to your new blog name, it's lovely : )
It looks really nice, Anna! :) I haven't tried crocheting yet. I'm glad your day is going well! So far mine has been normal, but nice :)
God bless!
P.S. I love the new name for your blog! It does sound very feminine! :)
Ha! Just today I figured out how to read a pattern like that. Maybe I should give it a try someday. I've just started work on a crochet placemat that's coming along very quickly (it helps I did that, and watch TV, instead of housework today! Bad me :D )
I like the new name, it will be odd not having your blog at the top of my alphabetical list.
God Bless!
I've been reading your blog for a few weeks now. I can't remember who mentioned it but I enjoy it very much. I'm in my mid 40's and many, if not all, of your posts speak to me. You are doing a fantastic job. I love visiting here. :)
PandaBean,
Hehe, I'm afraid I spent too much time working on my new crochet project yesterday as well. I hope I can share it soon. Anyway, if you *really* want me at the top of the list, you could put it as: 'Anna's blog: Domestic Felicity' :P
Dear anonymous, I'm glad you enjoy visiting here! If you ever like to drop me a note and tell your name, I would be so happy.
Anna, This is gorgeous! I HOPE to be able to learn to make more than a rug, and do something like this!
It's very easy, Tracy :) Once you learn to make the basic stitches, you can do *anything*. And if I learned it, surely you can too!
Ooooooohhhhh! That is simply beautiful, Anna! :)
