Thank you

This is a letter of thanks to all your dear ones, who make my experience of writing here, in this little corner of the web, so much more meaningful, enriching and enjoyable, through your kind comments and emails. Hearing from you is always such a treat, and I cannot express how happy I am for having met all of you online. I used to feel alone, but now I feel like part of a warm, supportive community.

When I started blogging, I half-wondered – do I actually have anything to say, or will I run out of ideas in a week? But in a large part thanks to you, I am constantly encouraged and inspired to think, research, and challenge my thoughts, opinions and convictions. So I also thank those who disagree with me in such a courteous and respectful manner – life would be boring if we were all carbon copies of each other, and beliefs could become stale if they weren't challenged.

I think that a few times, someone might have been hurt or offended by things I said on this blog, and for this I apologize. It was certainly not in my intentions. What I would love to do is to reach out to all of you and hug you, all you wonderful ladies who became so dear to my heart. Thank you for visiting me every day. Thank you for being there.

Anna, you are a true gem. You're kind and polite and willing to agree to disagree. Your blog has become one of the ones I visit on a daily basis and I'm always excited to see what you're writing about!

I'm glad you blog, Anna. You're a God-fearing, intelligent, warm, cheerful and respectful person. You've helped me see that one does not have to come from a "perfect" Christian family in order to learn to love God. Even a former atheist such as myself can. Your respectful and cheerful attitude also helps me to be more so toward others.

I've been reading your blog for months and always look forward to seeing new posts. I'm a quiet person and don't say much, but I wanted to let you know that I appreciate your blog.

God bless you, and may you always have your eyes open to them.

Anna,

I was just saying to my bf that you are an articulate and thought-provoking writer. Though I may disagree with some of your view points, I continue to look forward to reading your daily posts because you challenge me on both an intellectual and spiritual plane. It's refreshing to find women of the same generation as me who are not afraid to challenge the status quo.

3 Cheers for you! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!

No thanks needed. You are a breath of fresh air. Your voice gives me hope that we have not gone so far off track that we cannot influence the generation of young women coming along behind us. Thank you.

Ah, yes....life would be boring indeed if it were not for our differences. ;)
I do so enjoy reading your posts even though I disagree with many of the viewpoints on a woman's role. But it has been great getting to know you.
Despite our differences, we are still sisters in Christ and I love you no matter what our viewpoints may be! :)
Keep living out your own convictions, Anna, as you feel God has laid on your heart. As long as you are at peace with God that is all that matters. :)

I would be surprised if anyone was hurt by anything that you have said on your blog. You are always very sweet in your post. Perhaps another person might not agree but I don't think that you are ever rude or mean in your viewpoints.

I haven't commented in a while, have been out of town and busy. But despite our differences or maybe because of it, I like to keep coming back!!

I love reading your blog! It's refreshing to know that not all young and single women are out painting the town red.

I enjoy your blog and I'm glad I found it. I wish I had known about the SAHM option when I was younger. It was only a few mos ago that I started staying home with my 9 yo and I'm 37. I feel like I have wasted so much time. But in my family, no one stayed home. I am glad to "know" you online and I live vicariously thru you!!! You are so level headed and a blessing to me.

Yes your blog is very warm and supportive and I like the way you allow people to disagree with you so long as they do is in a polite fashion of course! I hope you never run out of ideas.
