Thank you for your awesome response to yesterday's post. I appreciate it more than words could tell - you are absolutely amazing. When I opened my inbox, there were many sweet emails from those of you who took the time to write to me and encourage me privately. I feel so humbled. THANK YOU. I hope to catch up on emails soon.
I have been writing so much lately, both here and otherwise, that I feel like a little break is needed, at least for today. My head is overflowing with thoughts and ideas I would love to discuss with you, but today, I'll just share this picture I took last summer, at our beautiful beach in Caesarea. Sea and sky. I'm never tired of this view.
Did I mention blue is my favorite color?

That's absolutely beautiful. An entirely different brand of beauty than what we have here.
It's a very beautifull picture.
There's something magical about a beach, the sea and a blue blue sky. Thanks for sharing.

I love the beach! We usually have to try and go when we know that nobody will be there though due to all the nakedness on beaches these days. Beautiful picture!
Beautiful! Even though I know it isn't true, I always picture Israel as looking like this:

Thanks for showing us the true beauty of Caesarea!
One of our favourite memories from our trip least year was the family picnic on the beach, after which the kids went splashing in the waves.
Wonderful to read your past post. we support you 100% I had already figured it out anyways. Look forward to your future posts. How was your Channukah? We ended up sick!
That is gorgeous, and absolutely what I needed on this cold, snowy day.
That is so beautiful, what a blessing you have to be able to look at the sea God has made there. Wow! God bless you Anna.

I love blue as well!! My room is blue , yellow and white. Thank you for posting that beautiful picture!! God's creation is just so beautiful!! He sure has blessed us through the beauty and creativity of it.
I completely understand needing a break. I feel that way at times, too! I just wish currently that I had a computer that was working! :) I'm at the library again. Please pray for us regarding the computer situation. Thanks!
Hi Anna,
I've enjoyed reading your blog for several months now. I haven't commented yet because as a secular feminist (like some of your readers, judging by previous comments), I didn't feel like this was my forum.
However I did want to let you know I think you're an excellent, thought-provoking writer. I've taken many of your posts to heart and I too look forward to hearing more about your life in Israel and your path in Orthodox Judaism.

I grew up beside the ocean - so did my husband. I miss it so much, now that we live in the snowy interior of Canada! Thank you for sharing the lovely picture.

Beautiful photograph, Anna.
My family loves the seashore. We pull our vintage trailer to a favorite camp ground, settle in then go for a stroll or slumber on the beach. On the Northern California coast it's typically a bit on the chilly side, which lends itself to people keeping their clothes on. Usually the only suits you see are wetsuits..full ones with shoes too!
Congratulations on embracing who you are! I must say, that I have been a lurker for some time, reading your posts. I don't agree with everything you say, so that is why I never commented. But you have my interest now that you have shared so much of yourself with us. There really is no reason to be ashamed, although I do understand your hesitation, based on how much anti-Semeticism there is on the internet. One of my very best friends from childhood is Jewish, and we had the best time celebrating both the Jewish and Christian holidays together.
Do you live near this beach and which sea is it?
Anna,
I viewed the other pics you had taken of the area, as well. Just beautiful!!! I am going to put Israel on my list of countries to see. :)
Enjoy your break today and I look forward to your return! :)
Buffy, this is the Mediterranean. I live close to the sea as well, but this particular beach is rather far from where I live.
Melissa,
Hello fellow Canuck! You said you live in Canada's snowy interior. Ditto. :) Can I ask where you live?
Ya! Two fellow Canucks. Nice to meet you Melissa and Kathleen. Enjoying our snow?
