Anna,

What are you using as the backdrop of your pictures? Is it a fuzzy blanket? Or a piece of furniture? Every time I see it I scratch my head trying to figure out what it is.

Have you signed up for Ravelry? It's still in beta so you have to wait a few weeks for your invite but it's so awesome! I might have to get back into crochet thanks to all of the lovely patterns I keep seeing on there. It also can pull your project photos from Flickr so you can share them with other fiber geeks.

Maggie, that's a blanket I use to cover my bed during the day :)

Thanks Anna! Another mystery solved :)

I'm doing the same thing here with my knitting: row by row, inch by inch. It's fun to watch the progress. (o:

Your crocheting is lovely!

I wish I could crochet, but my carpal tunnel syndrome is so bad that I can only do one row before my hands go completely numb.

Anna this looks beautiful... I just might have to do some crocheting soon. :)
And on a side note... :)

what a beautiful piece of work. How long has it taken you to crochet that much?

You are an inspiration. :-) I just finished my first crocheted item - an oversized dishcloth of sorts. I've got the crocheting fever!

It looks beautiful! I wish I knew how to crochet and sew. I can barely even knit, but I am trying! I've restarted a scarf about 5 or 6 times now, but I'll keep at it! Thanks for your wonderful blog!

This is beautiful handiwork, Anna. I'm impressed!

I was crocheting as I clicked over here and read this. Your crochet is MUCH prettier than the plain old single-stitch dishcloth I'm doing, though! ;)

Anna,
What is it you are making? It looks beautiful, anyway. I adore that color. I'm working on a Christmas doily now. Don't you just love thread crochet? It's so delicate and dainty!
Holiday Blessings to you and to all...

How beautiful! What is it you're currently making? I love those colors! You're so talented! I know how to crochet, but there are so many stitches that I still need to learn. And I have no idea how to knit. I would love to learn how to knit, embroider, etc. and then place those hand-made items into a hopechest!

I've never crocheted with thread before, but I'd love to venture out and try. Is it much different than using yarn? Is it harder, or just something you may have to get used to?

I love to crochet while listening to comforting hymns, or even while listening to CD lectures for school! :) That's a great way to not eat the bread of idleness, and to use every moment productively! :)

What is it? I love the stitches and the color.

Love your site! I would be honored to have my daughters grow up like you.

Lara, there's more than 1 option for these squares, depending on how many I'll do in the end ;) it might be a table runner or an item of clothing.
