24

I'm 24 years old today.

In 24 years, I've made mistakes and repented of them, found God, had my heart turned towards home, got a university degree, met and married my wonderful husband (whose wife it is such a privilege to be), and gave birth to my sweet, precious baby girl.

It has been a road with many bends. I wonder what comes next!

If you lived next door to me, I'd make you a cake and a pot of tea and we'd have a nice chat... maybe you'd even let me hold that darling baby of yours for a minute or two;) But since we live on the other side of the world from each other, I'll just say: Happy Birthday sweet friend! and send along one of these: ♥((hug))♥

Hope you day brings you many wonderful treasures my dear!

Happy Birthday Anna. All of us have more to learn and experience and I hope G-d is happy to be found as our relationship with G-d is also a two way street as I hope G-d loves me as well as I try to live a way that G-d would approve. The Jewish people have a lot of problems the feminism of the religion being one of them which leaves us overly dependent on the government and men that are easily blackmailed which is not a good thing. I'm currently reading the book (which I found from the LAF website) the church impotent the feminization of Christianity by Leon J. Podles wondering if it is a problem in Judaism as well and it certainly is. The church has taken a softer approach to woman (even though the bible for many sins make no distinction) for certain sexual sins and contraception because they were worried of losing influence. This is not a good reason to have a double standard but the problem is in Judaism as well and it shows weakness in a religion when it can't appeal to a man's analytical skills who use facts in the work world and expect religion to have some rational basis and if it doesn't the religion is weak and not sustainable. Judaism makes sense to me as a man but some it has been distorted and men tend to ask more questions and the Rabbi's don't like that so they mostly cater to women and feelings and feel they have to be overly easy on them not because of the torah but because they have no influence on men and are afraid of losing the women as well. These are VERY UNHEALTHY DYNAMICS HOWEVER and the problems in Judaism are similar to what I am reading on this book the church impotent the feminization of christianity although I wonder who was first to start pandering to women because other men didn't respect them the way they wanted and likely for good reason Judaism or Christianity I myself as a Jewish man feel that in much of the religious world there is tremendous hostility to men and the only good men are those that put down other man ruthlessly and say how great women are even though the reality is far more nuanced. Many religious men don't make a living in a decent way if they make a living at all. I don't think the G-d of Israel likes this and our enemies can't respect a religion that either lies about men or produces horrible men from our own propaganda. After all Pharoh wanted to kill only the men and we view him as an evil man.
