CoverYourHair giveaway winner

Yesterday, I randomly selected the winner for the CoverYourHair giveaway. Just to add a bit of interest, I'll mention that I did it in the old-fashioned way - wrote everyone's names on pieces of paper, mixed them in a bowl, and asked my husband to pull out one for me.

And the winner is...

... drumroll...

The lady who called herself "Morethnrubies1"!

Congratulations! Please contact me at domesticfelicity@gmail.com so you can shortly receive your gift - I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks again for your participation, everyone! Hosting this giveaway was such fun, and I look forward to doing something like this again sometime. I was especially pleased to read comments from ladies who said that even if they don't win, they are now more encouraged to cover their hair, seeing how many other women are doing the same.

I'm debating on wearing dresses, skirts, and hair coverings. How did you explain this choice to family and others?

I forgot to mention on my first comment I made is I have short hair I'm growing out. Do you have any suggestion on what I could wear. I don't really care for snoods I was looking at the headbands though.

Good for her, I'm happy for the lucky lady! I also like how truly random you made it! I always thought those 'draws from the bowl' were fun!

Hello Anna!

I've been so encourage by your site. This is my first comment, but I wanted to say what a blessing it has been when I started wearing a headcovering. I was kind of scared to try it at first, but then there was no going back. I'm the only one at school who wears a covering and I did get some strange looks at first, but it has been amazing to see the amount of protection that has occurred after I made the decision. It is a daily reminder to humble myself also. I was feeling like I was the only one in my whole town who covered my head, but I've already seen 5 women at WalMart and a few other places in town who also wear coverings! :) Thank you so much for your wonderful site, and I hope to go home someday too. ~Blessings
