She's so cute when she sleeps
Every night, I tuck her in. And every night, when I come to check on her a couple of hours later, I find her squeezed into a corner with her little bottom in the air.
What a little snugglebug! She certainly know how to find a cosy corner, hehe. You must be so in awe of the changes you've seen in her this past year, Anna.
Aw, how adorable! Mine always liked that position too. I kept them on backs or sides to avoid SIDS, but once they were able to roll over on their own, I'd often find them like that. Must be a really comfy way to sleep.
Oh, wait, I remember sleeping like that at one time in my life. It is! :)
My daughter slept like this too :) Isn't it precious! I am glad you documented it, that way you and your husband can look back, remember and smile :) Happy days to you Anna!
Ah, Anna, she reminds me of my little one who is now going to be 4 years old...when she tucks her legs under her and snuggles into a corner, we call it "frogging"!
I miss my kids being so little (they are now 20, 18, 16, 15 and 3)...
Hi, Anna! What a sweet picture of your precious daughter! She's growing so quickly! How time flies by. Thank you for sharing it! Does she look more like mommy or daddy when you were her age? Bethany
Oh, she is adorable!♥ My little Noah used to sleep like that too.... I used to have to restrain myself from picking him up out of the crib and squeezing him every time I'd check on him, lol.
My boys (twin 2 1/2 yr olds) have gotten to where they will lay down and pull their blankets up over them (they are still in cribs). Not like my others, who were quite content to throw their blankets out of their beds, and sleep sprawled out like a rag doll....lol.
She is sooooo precious, my dear. Please give her some big squeezes from those of us who just long for those little baby "moments"...
Babies are like cats, they can sleep in very awkward-seeming positions. Yes, your little Shira is cute, I would just love to sit down beside the bed and listen to her breathing.
I'm sure you've probably considered this, but do you have any thoughts on sleeping alongside the baby & nursing on demand through the night? I have no idea if that's feasible. I think it's so great that you are breastfeeding on demand, and I was just wondering what you think of co-sleeping, as I believe it is called by those who favor attachment parenting.
She's adorable, Anna! I love how little ones sleep in their own individual ways. :o)
I'm expecting a new little lovely any time now. Today marks five days past my due date, and I'm trying so hard to be patient! Your photo reminds me of how worth-the-wait it is.
How precious! Someone mentioned still checking on their child at bedtime - mine is 17 and I still check on her! They will always be our babies, no matter what age they are.
That is adorable. My oldest would always end up in odd poditions - usually with an arm or leg poking out through the bars - but my little one, at ten months, is always in the exact same position when I go to get her up as she was when I tucked her in. She DOES NOT MOVE.
That is adorable. But I have to ask, are you worried about her suffocating in the blanket? I worry too much, I guess. My 2 year old still sleeps under a crochet blanket so I know he can get air. :-)
So sweet! I have a little one about the same age as yours (his birthday is January 13th). We stopped cosleeping a couple of weeks ago, Mommy needed sleep, and now he sleeps like that in his bed too. It must feel safe to them all squished into the corners. So precious... I always have to resist the urge to take him back to my bed when he's sleeping so sweet like that!

HA! Oh, that is beyond sweet. Bless her little bottom!
Oh my! Isn't that adorable? I used to sleep in a similar manner, but I would first bunch up and pile my blankets THEN crawl under

That IS so cute! This is how all of mine have slept! I love that. It makes me almost want to kiss them, but then I don't want to wake them!!!
Adorable!! My youngest is now 4, and I still check on her before I go to bed and love to see the little rosebud lips that look so like her baby face.
Precious....these are the small moments a mother treasures in her heart forever.
Very! :)

Mine is 20 months and sleeps like that with her bottom in the air. Babies must like that position!
Hello,
Your daughter is so sweet! Makes you want to snuggle with her :)
I enjoy hearing about your daughter, although you don't often post specifically about her.
With love and hope,
