How pretty

We received a very precious gift of baby clothes (from a relative) the other day. The clothes were pretty enough, but even prettier was the box they came in. Don't you just love this type of flowery, girly things?

It made me want to take out some colorful paper, gold ribbon and glue, and sit down to make something similar. Can't wait until my Shira is old enough to enjoy these things. Then both of us can have an opportunity to indulge.

She's probably old enough to enjoy it now. :) Mine's only about 9 months old and she'll examine some of her clothing more closely than others. I can tell. :)

Mrs. Ana,

It is quite beautiful. So girly and lovely. Thanks for sharing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed your blog, and learning more about the Hebrew culture and traditions. I hope to learn more. xox

It is pretty! It makes me want to do a better job wrapping gifts and making them pretty before I send them out. Somehow that makes all the difference.

Such a pretty box! Perhaps you can keep it for her Anna?

I love pretty but functional things!
Shira might be old enough now for you to start some easy crafts. My daughter is now 17 and we have been crafting together since she was tiny. Wonderful memories and still a lot of fun, plus she is now a very capable person and prefers to make things if she can instead of buying them.

Jenn, I doubt we'll ever pass those clothes to someone else, as Shira is just our first. :o) Most likely they'll be well worn out after we're done passing them from baby to baby.

Rose, certainly we're keeping it :)
