Four years ago, today...

... I walked towards the chuppah to the sounds of this:

Although it seems like yesterday, it's hard to believe I've already been married four years.

Happy Anniversary! I've been married since October, 2011, and it's hard for me to believe it's been that long :) BTW, nice song. I don't understand any Hebrew, but it sounds nice.

Please, will you post the translation of this beautiful song in English? Thank you for sharing!

Congratulations, Anna, and may you have many, many years together! G-d bless you and your family.

Can you give us a translation of the words?

I found the lyrics on the internet... no need to post them. Kabbalah isn't for me!

Happy Anniversary Anna! I wish you many more happy years.

Beautiful music. What is the title in English? Love hearing Hebrew even though I do not understand it. :)

Avigayil, our anniversary is 19-th of Adar (Adar bet, in that year). It was actually March 25-th that year. It totally escaped me there was our "other" anniversary. :-)

whateverisgoodandlovely, that's not Kabbalah. It's Ana B'Koach, and it's part of the "normal" routine of prayer, although perhaps it has origins in the kabbalah, I don't know for sure.

I started reading your blog a little over 4 years ago and have seen you grow from a girl to this wonderful young woman who is now a mother of two little girls and a wife.

May God bless you always Anna,

Laura

Congratulations, Anna! Beautiful music, too .

Beautiful words! It is very much in keeping of what we know about you (or think we know!) that the prayer is as much for the happiness and welfare of others as is it for yourself and your husband. You are an inspiration for all of us!

Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs T.
My sweet husband and I have been married almost 15 years and sometimes it feels like just yesterday, and sometimes it feels like we have always been together. Do you ever feel like that?

Anna, I find it absolutely amazing that you have been married four years already. It amazes me to think of how long you have been in my life. I don't comment much but I love reading your posts. I have been reading since before you ever met your husband, before you ever went before the Rabbis even. Congratulations on such a beautiful life you have helped to create with Hashem. May you continue to be a shining light for many many more years.
