It's fuzz season again
Another of our hens went broody. She actually had no eggs under her, but this didn't bother her in the least; she gathered some white rounded stones and sat on them.
Thankfully, we were able to get some soon-to-hatch eggs from a friend of ours.

I love seeing your fuzz season posts. We are still very stuck in winter in my part of the world so seeing your spring like posts is a nice reassurance that soon this part of the world will defrost.
We talked about getting chickens this Spring. Another step in the green cleaning /green living changes. But, since we're having another child I think the chicks will wait.

Poor little thing. I bet she'll make a terrific foster mom.
